Data Validation and Reconciliation (DVR) System PROCESSPLUS® at NPP Krsko in Slovenia - Curtiss-Wright and BTB Jansky Win Contract Bid for Installation

German engineering and software company BTB Jansky and US-based company Curtiss-Wright were chosen to install the certified DVR system PROCESSPLUS® at the Nuclear Power Plant Krško – Nuklearna Elektrarna Krško (NEK) – co-owned by Slovenian utility Gen Energija and Croatian utility Hrvatska elektroprivreda (HEP). The DVR system PROCESSPLUS® is installed as part of the FAMOS Plant Performance Monitoring System from Curtiss-Wright.
The 2-loop Westinghouse pressurized water reactor with an electric power output of 696 MWe was connected to the power grid in 1981. Seamlessly integrated into the FAMOS System, PROCESSPLUS® will be used for quality-assured plant monitoring and continuous optimization of plant operation based on quality-assured reconciled process data.
PROCESSPLUS® facilitates the continuous optimization of plant operation based on quality-assured reconciled process data to continuously operate at 100% licensed power by applying reconciled correction factors for relevant process parameters and can be used for measurement uncertainty recapture uprates (MUR).
BTB Jansky and PROCESSPLUS® are certified according to the DVR standard VDI 2048 (2017).
