07 / 2015 Performance of a ProcessPLUS Status and Benchmark Report for the nuclear power plant Paks units 1-4 in Hungary
BTB Jansky modeled and analyzed the thermodynamic processes of units 1-4 of the nuclear power plant Paks in Hungary. The objective was the quality-assured assessment of the plant unit conditions and a benchmark analysis among the single units. The results of the analysis included potentials for increases of thermal core power and indications for optimized maintenance of the units.
10 / 2014 Conducting an EPRI study in cooperation with TrueNorth and Exelon based on ProcessPLUS
BTB Jansky is conducting a study for the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) in cooperation with its US-American partner TrueNorth. For the study, a ProcessPLUS Status Report for the nuclear power plant Clinton, located in Illinois a boiling water reactor owned by utility Exelon — will be generated and integrated into the EPRI report.

The objective of the study is to establish the method of data reconciliation — applied in the monitoring and optimization system ProcessPLUS — as a qualified basis for the correction of feedwater flow measurements on the US-American market.

The correction of feedwater flow measurements has been applied throughout the European market for several years and has been assessed and approved by various inspection authorities.

Technical and organizational requirements for the introduction of data reconciliation according to VDI 2048 are not well known. Practical experience was mostly published by supplier of software tools. The objective of the new VGB standard is to close this information gap. More specifically, the approach of data reconciliation according to VDI 2048 is to be presented and described. BTB Jansky significantly contributed to the generation of this standard. VGB Standard

BTB Jansky GmbH announces the installation of the ProcessPLUS® Online System at the coal-fired power plant Pocerady Units 2, 4, 5 and 6 of Czech utility CEZ. The current installation project was initiated after successful implementation of the ProcessPLUS® System at Pocerady Unit 3.

The power plant Pocerady currently has a total generating capacity of 5 x 200 MWe.

03/2009 - Performance of HP Turbine Retrofit Warranty Test at Philippsburg 2 Nuclear Power Plant

BTB Jansky GmbH announces the performance of a warranty test using the delta method which assesses the process state before and after the retrofit of the high pressure turbine at the nuclear power plant of Philippsburg 2 (KKP2) of the German utility EnBW. The warranty test is based on operating data reconciled according to the German guideline VDI 2048.

ProcessPLUS® Warranty Testing delivers highly accurate results of retrofit analyses without the need for additional instrumentation.
